The SD-WAN Test-Drive Portal resides in Advantech’s networking labs. Users with an approved login can access their evaluation setup through a secure remote connection. Their entry point will be the UBiqube and Enea management, orchestration and automation tools. A network connection to the Advantech FWA-1012VC and FWA-3050 white-box uCPEs will be available to create different SD-WAN configurations.

Other Advantech uCPE white boxes are available for testing. These range from bare-metal configuraions based on the entry-level FWA-T011 running flexiWAN SD-WAN on Ubuntu, all the way up to the high-performance FWA-5070 verified Intel® Select Solution for uCPE with 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors. A traffic generator is also available in case users want to perform high performance tests with specific traffic patterns.

 

Software Framework

The FWA-1012VC and FWA-3050 evaluation units are pre-configured with Enea NFV Access, flexiWAN SD-WAN and open source firewall. They provide all the required elements to run a wide range of secure SD-WAN tests.

Users will be able to manage their evaluation units through Enea uCPE manager and flexiWAN SD-WAN controller. The lab also connects to cloud-based MANO from UBiqube for a unique integrated automation experience.
